Joy to the ... Life of a Graduate Student

If any of you noticed, Caroline has been a little quiet in the blogging world lately.

Confession: In the last week,
I have written and completed three term papers (20 pages each),
completed weekly readings and activities for each of my three courses,
and I have three all-essay final exams this coming week. (Cumulative exams, might I add!)
But at the end of it, I will have finished my first semester of graduate school!
So, I am burnt out on school. Hence, why I am procrastinating and posting a blog!

For all of my fellow students, hang in there!
We are almost to the end!
Undergraduates, I know how hard you are working. Keep it up! Every grade counts and every assignment matters, especially when you're learning all about the wonderful field of Child Life! Soak in every piece of information possible.

Graduate Students, I have so much respect for you! I am right there with you! We're almost to the end of the semester! You can do it. It's not easy, but you are doing it! You are an inspiration to us all. Just think, when you're done you will have a MASTERS degree. Eat some ice cream. Reward yourself.
For those of you thinking about going back to school, remember that the requirements for Child Life Specialists are transitioning to requiring a master's degree. Refer to childlife.org for up-to-date information.

Happy December everyone, let the holidays commence! (After all these wonderful exams, of course!)
-Caroline
